Who recognises KET
The Cambridge Key English Test (KET) is an elementary level examination for learners of English, set at level A2 of the Council of Europe’s Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. It is taken by more than one hundred thousand people every year, in over eighty countries. Like other Cambridge English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) examinations, KET covers the four main language skills – Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking – as well as knowledge of vocabulary and grammar, and assesses learners’ ability to communicate in English in real situations.
Many employers recognise Cambridge ESOL certificates as proof of the holder’s ability to use English to communicate effectively and the skills gained are of value in a widerange of work related situations.
The following are some typical examples of companies and organisations worldwide which have used KET, either for staff recruitment or as part of their training and staff development programme. To get the full list of those who recognise KET, please click Here
